Miami Open 2025
June 14 - 15
After an incredile turn out, Sensei Luis was honored with the trophy for “The Dojo with the Largest Number of Competitors,” a recognition of our dojo’s dedication and ever-present role in the karate community. FKC brought 63 fierce competitors ranging from five-year-old beginners to elite-level adults and earned a total of 82 medals—including 23 gold, 21 silver, and 38 bronze. We’re especially proud of our young ones who performed fiercely and fearlessly on the mat.
At this tournament, FKC’s team proved that competition isn’t just about medals—it’s about showing up for the team. A small army of coaches—Sensei Sebastian, Sensei Zoë, Sensei Danny, Sensei Sofia, Sensei Santi, Sensei Stefi, Sensei Miriam, Sensei Angelo, and Sensei Shantal—worked tirelessly to support our athletes at every level. We’re also proud of our elite team members who stepped up to serve as referees, showing their dedication to karate by giving back to the sport that shaped them.
